WHY WE GOLF
Rotary was the world’s first colunteer community service organization. Founded in Chicago in 1905, Rotary now has 1/2 million members in 31,000 clubs in 165 countries. Through more than $95 million in grants, the Rotary Foundation supports community projects here and abroad, including education and polio worldwide.
The Rotary Club of Memphis Central provides scholarships to deserving students and assists other organizations in their missions related to hunger, literacy, and homelessness. Memphis Central meets each Friday at Kemmons Wilson Building, University of Memphis. If you are interested in joining this service organization, click here to learn about membership.
